The Jalpaiguri Central Co-operative Bank Ltd. established in 1919 is providing dedicated banking service to the people of Jalpaiguri (Jalpaiguri and Malbazar Subdivision), part of Darjeeling (Siliguri Subdivision) and Cooch Behar (Mekhliganj Subdivision) districts. At present, the bank has 15 branches and 03 extension counters.

Apart from Crop Loan and SHG Loan, where The Jalpaiguri Central Co-operative Bank Ltd. is a pioneer in the district, the bank also provides Cash Credit & Overdraft facilities to individuals, Engineersí and Labour Co-operative Societies. Among other loans are, Loans to Employeesí Co-op. Credit Societies, personal loans, house building loans etc. The bank is also providing highest rates of interest to itís depositors on Savings, Recurring, Term Deposits, MIS etc. As per policy of the bank, the bank employs all of itís funds locally, thus lending a helping hand in financial development of the region, unlike other commercial banks. The bank has started mobilising deposits successfully amongst the people of lowest economic tier by introducing Daily Deposit Scheme (Dainik Sanchay Prakalpa).
